Although I had a junk-out the other day, I have eaten decently during this episode, which is a change.
My brother and SIL had me over for dinner one night this week, and we had Shan's French Onion Soup and BBQ striploins.
For Cinco de Mayo, I made shrimp quesadillas.

I'd say fabulously (not just decent). Does food itself affect your mood in any way? Or does your mood just affect the food you eat? Just curious.
That's actually a really good question. When my mood is low, I tend to crave comfort foods, and I tend to have a much lower thresshold for resisting cravings. When my mood is REALLY low, I have a hard time eating - I feel hungry but don't have much of an appetite for food and it's a real chore to eat properly. The less functional I am, the more cereal I eat! I remember eating mini-wheats for three meals a day at one point in the last couple of years, it was that bad.
All of that food looks so very delicious. I love that grilled steak.
I is amazing how many of your "symptoms" I've had my entire life! I've never gone to a doctor for it though. I tend to "self medicate" with food. Fortunately for me (but not my perpetual diet) I never get too depressed to eat.
Everything looks so good. I don't eat steaks but my sons would love it.
Wonderful! What scrumptious looking food!
Cheers,
Rosa
Strange and mysterious thing our body is. It is interesting, though, to see and hear how food plays into it all. It is a vital part of life, afterall. Thank you for sharing this with us. :)
Oh I like them all, and the steak won me over, it look incredibly good.
That steak is devastating. Hope you are feeling better!
Umm tuna melt! That will be on this week's menu. Hope you're feeling better soon.
