Bread 'n Molasses's last print edition was in the fall of 2011. Since then, they have launched an online version of the magazine, available here. The issue included my last printed Coyote's Kitchen article, and here it is, featuring Hungarian Goulash - the Betty Crackpot Crocker version my mom used to make for us. (The delay in posting was due to my scanner being in storage for a few months, and I was finally reunited with it last month.) No, it's not super authentic, I know that; but it sure was tasty and I got such a feeling of nostalgia when I made it.

Wow, has it really been a month since my last post? Um...I have lots of material...just not a lot of motivation right now. We'll see what the next few weeks brings me in terms of energy levels.

In the meantime, here is my latest food column in Bread 'n Molasses Magazine. Ice cream - just in time for summer.

Instead of providing you all with a Magazine Monday recipe today, I thought I'd share with you my latest food column, which contains two recipes! This is my piece from the Nov./Dec. issue of Bread & Molasses magazine, a publication out of Mirimachi, New Brunswick, for which I write a bi-monthly food-related article. According to my mom, the cheese ball recipe has been lost for a long time and she was pleased to have found it. Good thing I copied it down before I moved out 15 years ago! Click to enlarge. Enjoy!

Just Call Me "Food Columnist"

My first article as Bread 'n Molasses food columnist has been published, and I got my first two issues in the mail yesterday! I have no idea if I can legally post this scan I made of my article, so perhaps this post might have to come down, but until I find out otherwise, here it is! I am stoked! My next article comes out in the July issse.
