OK, so today my friendly neighbourhood SPCA, for whom I once in a while foster kitties is having a bake sale at the mall, and since I had icing left over from my initial batch of
Ricotta Cookies, not to mention a crap-load of ricotta still languishing in my fridge, I made a second batch of the cookies last night for the bake sale. I didn't colour the icing this time, but I did sprinkle the tops with chocolate sprinkles that are actually Williams Sonoma hot chocolate mix, a gift that came in
Jodi's box of goodies last month.

I love the picture of the cat. In our house...that would be our dog Chloe, only there would be long drool drips coming from either side of her chops, LOL.
In our house, all you would see is greasy kitty cat paw prints, as Porsche will drag off the counter any chicken or turkey left unguarded.
What a good thing you do taking in foster kitties. I've considered it but I'm afraid we wouldn't be able to send them back when the time came.
How cute.. BTW, I made the ricotta cookies, sprinkled them with pastel sprinkles, they were a hit.. May I use it in my next imitation post in may sometime? Thanks for the recipe!!
The bake sale is a great idea and a wonderful way for people to help out. Knowing how generous you are, I'm not surprised that you offered to bake something!!! The ricotta cookies look fabulous (again). I love the idea of the chocolate sprinkles AND icing. Mmmm. I'm going to try the recipe for our next office get together. And the kitty pic? Hilarious!
Yay SPCA! My brother fosters cats/kittens for them sometimes too. Those cookies look good as well. :)
Mam: that's what everyone says about fostering. But I am always OK giving them back because then I know I can get other foster cats. It's a very rewarding experience.
Donna-FFW: of course you can use the recipe! I'm glad you made the cookies and that they were a hit!
Welcome, Bob!
Oh, that looks so ggod. Ah the cat tempted?
Cheers,

Those cookies look fantastic!
I love your Saturday laughs. :) Thanks.
More yummy looking ricotta cookies? No complaints here. And what a wonderful thing you're doing, contributing to the bake sale. Good for you! The cookies look great.
