Magazine Monday # 56: Latest Article from Coyote's Kitchen

Instead of providing you all with a Magazine Monday recipe today, I thought I'd share with you my latest food column, which contains two recipes! This is my piece from the Nov./Dec. issue of Bread & Molasses magazine, a publication out of Mirimachi, New Brunswick, for which I write a bi-monthly food-related article. According to my mom, the cheese ball recipe has been lost for a long time and she was pleased to have found it. Good thing I copied it down before I moved out 15 years ago! Click to enlarge. Enjoy!

You're published? Regularly?

Damn, I'm such an amateur;)

You should start an existentialist blog named "wondering coyote":)

Nice job! Do you know I have always wanted to make a cheese ball but never have! Maybe this Christmas will be the unveiling of my first cheese ball thanks to you ...

Wow, what a feast there must have been at your house with your dad's birthday and Christmas back-to-back. Thanks for sharing the recipes... they both sound fantastic.

Palidor: there was always A LOT of food around Xmas at our place. Funny thing was, though, that growing up no one ate the steak & kidney pie except my dad and my mom, so my mom just fed us hot dogs for dinner!

This is so cool W...! and I so agree with you, I hardly ever appreciated the effort my mom used to put in when she prepared those feasts for us back when we were kids, had I known then what I know now, i would have expressed a lot more gratitude...

The cheese balls are a deliciously naughty idea : ).... thanks so much for sharing.
