Local Weather

For a non-food-related interlude, check out pictures of the lovely weather I'm currently experiencing here.

When, when will it end?

Big time winter for you! We still have a couple of feet of snow, but it's melting fast. Our problem is volcanic ash. Mt. Redoubt is erupting and showering us with ash. So far, not a lot in our area, but more in other areas. It all depends on the winds.I would rather have snow than ash!

Oh My! We do not get too many storms like that here in the winter, and dare I say it.. I do enjoy them, to me it means a day of being stuck in the house, baking and cooking, and I sooo lke that:) Of course, soup making too on those days!! I didnt realize you had another blog, Ill have to check it out.

I feel for you - we woke up to another freaking 6 inches of snow this morning. I seriously think if you get to wake up to 6 inches IT SHOULD NOT BE SNOW.

I've never even heard of Hush Puppies but now I'm curious to find out. I seem to have this same problem you had except my continuing problem of food disasters is on Polenta, I have not found a good recipe on polenta yet.
