My first day on the job was stressful and overwhelming, but the second day went better. I cannot cook with salt there; these are seniors and salt is a no-no. So, the food is bland. No salt = no flavour! I go back for 2 more training shifts next week and start to fly solo the week after. The paycheque is going to be sweet!

You are missed in the blogging world but take all the time you need to recenter. Starting a new job is challenging but it sounds like you're going to do an awesome job there.

My Mom has just recently had to cut down her salt. It's really a hard thing to do. The kitty eating waffles reminds me of Moon. If you turn your back he will steal your food. I wish you all the best with your new job!
