If you can get to a bookstore, check it out first, but if you don't eat meat and like Giada, it shouldn't be a problem.

Lemon: thanks! She had to grow on me too, but I'm glad she did.

Meg: definitely give it a look. Not sure if there are enough pumpkin recipes in there for you, though! ;)Wandering Coyotehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01478039463695542535noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10509532.post-2980811227771429112008-09-30T07:25:00.000-07:002008-09-30T07:25:00.000-07:00I think I may have to check out this cookbook when...I think I may have to check out this cookbook when I go to Borders this weekend!Meghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09948600363052383006noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10509532.post-14678457418471969572008-09-30T06:27:00.000-07:002008-09-30T06:27:00.000-07:00I hate Giada herself... there is something about h...I hate Giada herself... there is something about her big dumb smile that irritates me to no end. However, I do enjoy her cooking more than I care to admit -- thanks for the review!runny_yolkhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18298538336084650933noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10509532.post-83950331982886468752008-09-30T06:08:00.000-07:002008-09-30T06:08:00.000-07:00Thanks for the review. I don't eat or cook red meat or chicken (I do seafood though)- in your opinion does this cookbook contain enough recipes without meat for it to be of use for me? I love Giada's show too! Thanks!Emily Rosehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16021853373705626917noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10509532.post-25801235974498036432008-09-30T04:15:00.000-07:002008-09-30T04:15:00.000-07:00No worries - you are one busy gal and I know you'l...No worries - you are one busy gal and I know you'll get to it eventually. What was in the salad (without giving away the recipe)? It looks very interesting.

And I've never attempted a roast. Like you, I'm not a big fan especially since I like my meat cooked all the way through and most others prefer their's a bit less well-done (ie not burnt!).Karenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11066059792352397198noreply@blogger.com
